Pe·har · the turns of an Indian day

A scent for every turn of your day.

The Indian day was once divided into eight pehars — four of daylight, four of dark, about three hours each. Each turn has its own light and feeling. We make an oil-based roll-on for those turns. We begin with three, the back half of the day; more will follow.

What is a pehar

The day, kept in eight watches.

Long before clocks, the Indian day was measured in pehars — eight watches of roughly three hours, four through the day and four through the night. A pehar isn’t just a slot of time; it carries a particular light, a temperature, a mood.

You already speak it. Do-pahar — literally “two pehars” — is how an entire language still says afternoon. The word survived because the feeling did.

Pehar makes a close, oil-based scent for those turns — worn on the skin, not thrown into the room. Our first three sit in the back half of the day: the clear afternoon, the temple dusk, and the slow let-go before sleep.

Gifting · corporate & festival

A gift that feels like somewhere, not something.

Most corporate gifts are objects. A pehar is a place and a time — wet earth after rain, sandalwood at dusk, a slow Sunday. It arrives close to the skin and stays personal.

We pre-sell against purchase orders and produce to your quantity, so festival and milestone runs land on time and on brand. Diwali, onboarding, client thank-yous, long-service gifts.
